This is a fun light hearted episode that flies by. Danna can finally breathe a deep sigh that the wild season of Fall has passed. Danna is taking time to spend with her youngest to do fall things and Kristin admits she never took her kids to Santa. Kristin had a birthday and the mismatched pair went to an OSU game with some of Kristin’s friends. Johnny Apple Seed

Trick or Treat is almost here. Can you believe that November is next week!? If you do not have costumes ordered….here is your reminder. Kristin got carded at the grocery store and in the same week is asked if this couple  in their mid twenties were her kids. Danna helps her realize that those kids could actually be her kids! State testing and the pressures that are put on the kiddos. Danna says Kristin needs to use the reminder app because she cannot remember to get everything ,  unless it’s on a list. Danna plays Johnny Apple Seed for a tour at the farm. Kristin shares her favorite job. (Insert sarcasm) Kristin shares a job that she would like to have someday. There is a feature in the Tesla that Kristin learned that’s pretty handy. Did one of the girls get a new car, listen to find out. 🤣

Rain Rain Rain….NE Ohio sure is catching up on the rain deficit the past few days. The Patterson new metal roof is on and it sounds relaxing when all this rain hits the roof. Danna get her roof as soon as the rain stops. Kristin shares her latest Amish worker update. The gutter guy is no Willis…find out what his driver drives. The TikTok Shop has Danna hooked. She has been shopping it up with sorts of new finds. From the Amish straight to the Jewish culture. Everyone needs to watch the Netflix special Nobody Wants This. Kristin follows Miriam Ezagui on insta, she is an Orthodox Jewish wife, mother and labor and delivery nurse. Kristin feels like the Jewish faith is trending right now. Danna thinks it’s more normal than trending.

Exhaust(ed)

Kristin has a headache, from breathing in too much dirty diesel exhaust. These girls are not sleeping well and the Fall season has set in on the farm. The Patterson’s are getting a new root which has let to all sorts of interesting stories.
Kristin on occasion walks around the house naked when no one is up. Danna apparently takes her top off to avoid getting in trouble with her husband….these girls have gone wild. Kristin had a near miss with their Amish crew and Danna’s secret credit card was found but her husband in the laundry. How long do you keep clothes before you pass them along? It’s so hard to part with clothes.

Bats are not Real

Happy mid week friends! We are so glad that you are listening today. Kristin took another trip to Amish country to pick up the latest batch of meat chickens. She shares her least favorite part of farming. She also shares that she hides something from her mother in law….its a sweet situation. Danna shares what she helps her father in law hide and again we see how these two are mismatched. 
Kristin visited the Golden Arches and ate an entire medium French fry….Danna wouldLove to eat a quarter pounder with cheese. Danna was selected for Leadership Geauga Institute and she has her overnight trip with her class. She got a little spooked with her accommodations. Kristin and Bill shared the farmon their local NBC news station and welcomed a new member to the @WKYC team David Greenberg. He visited Patterson Fruit Farm for the first time. We chat about nasty political ads…regardless of your political views, no one likes the nasty attack ads.The Geraci’s are getting a new set of wheel and Bill is brokering the deal….there is an interesting connection.We wrap up this episode with the Patterson family getting their church directory photo taken and it went so rough they didn’t even try to sell them their photo. They closed down the photo sessions!

Personal Shopper

Danna may or may not have left conditioner in her hair. Happy birthday to Campbell Miriam and Kristin’s niece Hazel. The two cousins share a birthday, seven years apart. Kristin tried to pull a fast one on Bill but he didn’t bite. Danna has a person who does her personal shopping. The service is not cheap but it is really working out for her. Homecoming recap, all kids had a blast but these two moms are glad everyone survived.

The Big E and Rod Stewart

Kristin just returned from The Big Evan’s Danna from a Rod Stewart concert. He opened for Billy Joel.

Danna paid big bucks to park for a concert and Kristin slept on the floor of the Washington Regan airport. Neither of these ladies are making sound decisions this week. Danna won some cold hard cash on the Penny slots, her family started a new ladies tradition. 
Big week for the teens…Homecoming week, dresses suits and lots of good stories to come.

It’s a morning podcast. We may have started with somehow not recording.

It Wouldn’t be FAIR

Get the county fair updates and the kids results. Danna came to the fair one evening and realized just how much she enjoys the livestock auction. 
Danna didn’t go  to her daughter’s Varsity volleyball game and of course she got called in to play. 
One of the kids has a little crush and there may have been a HOCO ask at the FAIR. How cute and oh how awkward to watch your teens have relationships.  It is quite cute however. Kristin is a ribbon thief…..not once but two times.

The Farm Version of Dance Moms

Danna is podcasting in her  Jammie’s and Kristin is quite possibly the most disgusting she has ever been on a podcast.Some people vacation at the county fair. Danna cannot wrap her mind around the fact that some people love 4H so much that they use their days off work to volunteer and be with their kids to show. Danna goes to the fair for rides and Kristin goes to see the agriculture side.
