Puke and Rally

We hope that you watched the solar eclipse, it was amazing! Kristin’s sister and family came over to watch the eclipse. There was some puking in the kitchen sink, listen to find out what happened. Danna had a very traumatic experience and called Kristin with a 911 emergency. She needed her at her house stat. Kristin ignored the call because she was playing on the playground at Patterson Fruit Farm.We need to know all about if your kids buy or pack lunches.  Buying school lunches is getting pricy. Preteens and Sephora…we talk about the 80/90’s equivalent. Thank goodness there was not social media when we were growing up!! Kristin Embarrasses Danna

The Book Ends

It’s Easter Week! Friday is coming for all our Christian friends. Teenagers, lots of teen talk this episode. We chat helping our kids see the big picture. Share your best teenage story with us. Studying, it’s a learned thing and some kids just don’t need to study, until they do. Danna and Tom had a snit and she shared why her rule of thumb is “It’s ok to go to bed upset every once in a while. Kristin says sleep naked and you never fight, except over the dishwasher setting.College choices are hard and Danna tells us why she regrets her college choice. Penmanship is a thing of the past. We share who has the best handwriting ever!

Happy Spring- It’s a Ducks Life

Happy Spring! Spring has arrived and in NE Ohio we got a fresh new coating of snow. It is National Agriculture Week! We love farmers! It was also poultry day this week and we celebrated by incubating 3 new white bantam call ducks. This has been a part time job for Kristin. Danna seems un invested but she loves it! Kristin walks around with a duck in her coat but swears she would never let it sleep in her room. They talk puppies verses babies and ducks. Kristin’s cat got herself into some trouble, she loves the turkey poults (baby turkeys) a little too much. Richard Simmons….thats a name that takes you back. This time change has us under its spell. We are ready for bed at 8pm. Danna shares why she can’t sleep these days even though she’s exhausted. Big announcement, a little white bantam call duck hatched. It hatched on Danna’s watch, she is a first time duck mom. The count down is on, this is our 98th episode of the podcast. Kristin thinks she is a snowbird spending all this time down in Florida. Sharing is Caring

It’s official Kristin caught the crud from Danna.Danna is a real giver….she has officially infected her family and Kristin. There is no video this week because Kristin flew the coop again and is on a beach in Florida at a “farm conference” and Danna does not know how to operate the equipment.  So many laughs about the Super Bowl , you need to listen to hear the dissection of the game from start to finish. Danna also gives a lesson on how to bet and Kristin shares her version of betting. 
Danna’s youngest saved Kristin’s mom from being locked out of the house  again….

Good Clean Fun

What do low raspy voices and omelettes have in common? Absolutely nothing and yet somehow they ended up on the podcast today. Danna’s sick, Kristin is tired together these two may equal one whole person. They are recovering from their ski weekend, Danna survived with only one face plant, Kristin laughed and decided it was best to keep skiing and allow her to recover without an audience. Showers, we share shower stories and don’t worry, they are clean.
