The Graduate

Parker Graduated from 8th grade, do we really need all these graduations? Danna shares her view and I know it’s shocking but the mismatched pair may agree on something. 
What do you do if your phone rings at a public event? One person thought they should answer it on speaker.
We may have reached an all time low and discuss weaning of rabbits, we is used loosely it’s really Kristin. Danna confirms again she is not sure why she is friends with a person who has to check rabbit nipples. 
Kristin went turkey hunting without a gun…don’t worry she had a cute outfit. 
Danna kicks off the Memorial Day weekend tanning at her pool…..it’s the start of Summer friends!!!

Beefing

Danna has had a day and well she and her husband are beefing. Kristin is talking gardening and shared how she did not turn water into wine but did turn two plants into 7. Kristin also runs a little plant nursery hospital which has turned into an entire new bed. 
It’s sort of shocking but Danna has a real green thumb and really enjoys vegetable gardening. Italian Roma tomatoes are her thing.Danna declares she does not want to be friends with people, she needs a people less moment. She also needs a time out from her husband touching her.

3 Little Pigs

Danna got a new grill! She is rearranging her backyard to make room for some new beds. She’s really turning over a new leaf. Role reversal. Kristin left the farm looking 1/2 way put together and Danna looks like she works at a farm. TikTok verses reels…which one is better and why? Forget Amazon shopping, Danna has moved on to TikTok shopping. Meghan Markle is releasing strawberry jam….it’s interesting. Kristin thinks she and Harry have purchased a farm and they are farmers. Danna thinks it’s all weird and Kristin pronounces it incorrectly the entire podcast. Welcome to the family Beau Mathew! Kristin is the very proud Aunt to her little sister and husband’s baby boy. Archie and Olive are very excited to have a new brother. Danna has the Sheetz

Danna picks apart Kristin’s outfit again. Kristin worked outside all day in the dirt. Danna reached an all time high, she got hit on by a homeless man. We share some families funnies when it comes to aging diseases. While the disease is horrible sometimes you have to laugh in order to cope.The Geauga County Maple Festival is coming up, it’s the last weekend in April. Crazy schedules well we have them….life is hectic. Balancing getting everyone every, it is tough at times, deep breath! 
Everyone needs a friend they can call when you have a dire emergency. Danna was in a very sticky situation and Kristin saved Danna.

Puke and Rally

We hope that you watched the solar eclipse, it was amazing! Kristin’s sister and family came over to watch the eclipse. There was some puking in the kitchen sink, listen to find out what happened. Danna had a very traumatic experience and called Kristin with a 911 emergency. She needed her at her house stat. Kristin ignored the call because she was playing on the playground at Patterson Fruit Farm.We need to know all about if your kids buy or pack lunches.  Buying school lunches is getting pricy. Preteens and Sephora…we talk about the 80/90’s equivalent. Thank goodness there was not social media when we were growing up!! The Book Ends

It’s Easter Week! Friday is coming for all our Christian friends. Teenagers, lots of teen talk this episode. We chat helping our kids see the big picture. Share your best teenage story with us. Studying, it’s a learned thing and some kids just don’t need to study, until they do. Danna and Tom had a snit and she shared why her rule of thumb is “It’s ok to go to bed upset every once in a while. Kristin says sleep naked and you never fight, except over the dishwasher setting.College choices are hard and Danna tells us why she regrets her college choice. Penmanship is a thing of the past. We share who has the best handwriting ever!

Happy Spring- It’s a Ducks Life

Happy Spring! Spring has arrived and in NE Ohio we got a fresh new coating of snow. It is National Agriculture Week! We love farmers! It was also poultry day this week and we celebrated by incubating 3 new white bantam call ducks. This has been a part time job for Kristin. Danna seems un invested but she loves it! Kristin walks around with a duck in her coat but swears she would never let it sleep in her room. They talk puppies verses babies and ducks. Kristin’s cat got herself into some trouble, she loves the turkey poults (baby turkeys) a little too much. Richard Simmons….thats a name that takes you back.
