Yolks on You

Just Say No

Fall is here ready or not. We are not ready but yet  ready for Fall. We chat about our favorite seasons and our busy seasons of life. Danna fights the reality that she enjoys her more rural roots. Listen about Danna’s first country concert and her ride to the event.  She scooted around Columbus. 
We hit up the Wayne County Fair and judged Lead Line…a wool/ sheep promotional event. Garment construction is important, we talk hemlines and share our differences in opinions.

Lucky Charms and Red Lights

Lucky Charms caused our podcast to have an abrupt pause. Who uses going to the bathroom as an excuse to get out of something? It’s a pretty common trend it seems. Spain’s soccer federation let their head coach go as a result of some allegations of misconduct. We chat about some of our personal experiences and what is and is not acceptable. This tuned into PDA with Danna and then rolled into teenagers. No butts about it we talk about the Red Light District and how Kristin have a talking to some teenage boys.  This then led into hairy dyed armpits. Listen along it’s an adventure as always.

Mid Week Faircast

Our first ever mid week podcast. We are recording before a studio audience at @thegreatgeaugacountyfair.
Kristin loves the fair more than most people. Danna is learning what the county fair is all about…livestock and people. She used to think it was about food and rides. We set the record straight with our very Special guest Sutton Pikor.  Sutton is a Patterson Fruit Farm employee and a Senior at Lake Catholic High School. He also happens to be the Geauga County Fair King. Sutton shares about the fair and how he became the Fair King. If you live in NE Ohio you need to get out to the fair. It’s open through Monday. We chat fair food and the must do weekend events.

Danna and Diarrhea

Fall Danna and Fair Kristin have arrived. We talk everything from concession stand drama and diarrhea. You will have to listen to see who has the diarrhea and what Fall Danna and Fair Kristin actually mean. 
Who would ever have thought you needed to price match your location concession stand. We had no clue before High School that it was a thing, we are learning the ins and outs of concessions at the football game.
E88….raise your hand if you know what it is and use it. Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers partnered up with your friendly @Sheets Gas’s stations. Be more environmentally friendly, support American Farmers and save at the  pump…it’s a triple win. 
Find out who drove away with the gas pump still in the car, it’s a real funny. 
Apples, they are in season on the farm and they are a super healthy way to fuel your body. We touch on Function Foods, you will want to know what this means. Eat your skins….

Clams and College

Who the heck has ever heard of a clambake? It is totally not a Midwest thing but in NE Ohio it’s a thing of Fall. Next to @PattersonFruitFarm is the hottest thing to do during the Autumn season. 
Back to school happened for all our kiddos and it went as to be expected. A few forgotten things and trying to figure out where classes were…it was a typical back to school year.Danna had her first “are you Olivia’s Mom?” while volunteering in the football concession stand. Dorm life…do you think it’s ok if Kristin crashes Sam’s dorm on a Friday night to say hi!?

Danna gets the last word

For the 1st  in the history of our podcast Danna gets the last word. 
It’s back to school time in our houses and the hustle and bustle has hit us. Danna lectures Kristin on time management, she’s just jealous that Kristin is so good at it.

The Patio Podcast

We started podcasting while the sun was beginning to set and well life happened. We had this beautiful patio podcast backdrop and Danna spilled her drink on the computer, it stopped recording. Take 2 honestly turned out better than our first go. It’s all about Back to School. Time management and structure are things we are all going to learn in the next few weeks as kids go to school. 
It was load out meat chickens and turkey night, Danna supervised this job and really doesn’t like the meat chickens. 
Who has forgotten their child at practice? Don’t worry we both have and we think it’s totally normal.

The Trailer Episode

 
Some may be thinking The Mismatched Podcast may be making a movie with this episode title but don’t worry we are literally chatting about a stock trailer that hauls livestock. Danna was appalled when Kristin asked her if she wanted to camp in her new trailer. Much like country music the trailer is growing on Danna. The @ohiostatefair is here and if you are in Ohio you must visit the fair, it runs through August 6th. 
How do you and your significant other negotiate deals when making major purchases? We chat sales tactics and how some people may treat you different. 
Cedar Point is a fun place to visit and you can camp there, be sure to visit this super fun spot in Northern Ohio. 
We also clarify some geographic confusion on Kristin’s part…let’s be clear people in Scioto County do have teeth…it’s Pike County that needs more dentists. If you listened to the last episode this will all make sense.
